You were right Clare that dancing is very like some of the Syrian bedouin dancing which is called Debke (pr. Debkay). We got dragged into it on a few occasions at weddings and parties but it was really hard and totally impossible to follow - no rhyme or reason to the steps!
Love all the photos and am very envious of your trip, can't wait to go somewhere again!
